In September 2007 EU announced that the five partners of the FluDrugStrategy project, Vironova AB, Beactica AB, Universitäts Klinikum Freiburg, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and Vrije Universiteit will receive a € 1.49 million grant to during 2 years develop novel antiviral drugs against influenza.
